While I didn’t document the assembly step by step with photos, I did do a video of the wife assembling the bike. Lucky for you, they are coming more assembled than they use to, so you should be ok with the video and a few reference photos. Please reach out if you need some additional information or pictures and I’ll continue to update this page.
Tools needed (I’ll probably miss something):
Blade of some type (just for unpacking and zipties)
Wrenches (8mm, 10mm, 12mm, 13mm, 14mm, 17mm, 19mm) *probably missing something here
Socket wrench (with same measurements as above, maybe not the 19mm).
Spark plug socket if swapping spark plug
Long extension for socket wrench (will save your knuckles)
Allen key for fairing bolts (?size – 5mm?)
Phillips head screw driver
Blade screwdriver (small)
Optional: Hacksaw/dremel (for jetting carb) or Replacement carburetor (Check Upgrades page)
Bike lift / milk crate / floor jack / strong friend – I suggest the bike stand from JFG on Amazon
Needle nose pliers just because.
Nice to have: Torque wrench and reference the torque specs over on the Riders Manual for the TBR7, should be similar.
1 Request already, detailed photos of the front spacers when installing the wheel, here ya go:
